My Silly Aunt

This was too funny not to share... Joey's cousins started kindergarten and preschool today and someone was pretty excited! (Auntie E has her own business and works VERY hard from home, without any outside childcare, so she was pretty excited for her boys to start their new school adventures. Although this photo doesn't show it, the boys were pumped to start school too!) Congratulation and good luck to ALL of you!!!

My First Wedding

We road tripped out to Iowa for cousin Nick and Leah's wedding. Joey had so much fun meeting his Iowa family. He especially enjoyed watching the fancy lights on the dance floor. 

Poppa's Visit

Poppa came to town for a few days and when he wasn't doing home projects for us, he spent time playing with and feeding Joey. Joey loved spending time with Poppa and can't wait to see him again in October! Here they are just lounging around on Saturday morning.

We had a great time at "Family Day" at Arlington Park. Joey even picked the winning race!

6 months

We can't believe how quickly 6 months has passed! Joey visited the pediatrician and weighed in at 16.5 lbs. He's consistently in the 25th percentile on the growth chart. He still smiles all the time, loves to be sang to and enjoys dining on sweet potatoes, bananas and peas. We can't believe how much fun we're having with this little guy!
